The Walker

Solar panels are usually hidden on rooftops, in fields or other ‘hidden’ places. We think this is not necessary at all! With our interactive Walker, we are capable of engaging pedestrians in sustainable energy generation in a simple and fun way.

The Walker consists of walkable solar top modules with integrated LED lighting. Each module is 60 x 60 cm. Because of this modular system we can design customized projects for every location. But whatever shape it comes in, The Walker always has these unique features:

Energy generation:
During the day, the solar panels generate power to provide the floor and the location of sustainable energy.
Smart:
The sensors in the floor gather all the data and send it to the public cloud-based dashboard.
Data visualization:
After sunset, the floor comes alive. It will visualize the gathered data, via the programmed LED-light, like a piece of unique light-art.
