For our small and ambitious team (7fte), we are immediately looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Chief Commercial Officer / Chief Operations Officer to internationally grow our propositions DancerGamer & Walker in the market segments Entertainment, Education and Smart Cities & Buildings.

What are you going to do?

As our CCO/COO, you are an important part of the Energy Floors team. As CCO you are responsible for the entire sales and marketing activities and results within Energy Floors. Together with the sales managers and the marketing team you translate strategic sales and marketing goals into concrete actions and KPIs. With the small commercial team, you take the lead and inspire by deal closing example. You optimize the sales structure and processes and make sure that you achieve the goals together. As the business grows, this role is expected to evolve, with the opportunity to head up a global sales team.

As COO you bring the quality and reliability of the operation to a higher level by structure and direction. Through processes, systems, tight organization, and intensive cooperation between departments, you ensure a grip on the entire operation (e.g., production, project and contract management, procurement, marketing and sales). You develop and build a strong and independent working team and together with the CEO you will develop the strategic (annual) plans for the organization.

Initially, your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in the MT, drawing up strategic and commercial plans and objectives.
  • Managing and coaching commercial and operational teams from a clear strategy and via clear communication to execute and deliver our targets and plans.
  • Expanding and managing Energy Floors’ key customers and partners (incl. resellers and distributors), positioning the company in the market.
  • Exploring, creating, and guiding international market growth opportunities, realizing commercial success.
  • Manage IT (Zoho CRM, Campaigns, Surveys, Projects, Dropbox, Email, EF Cloud, Exact).

Who are you?

Energy Floors is a Scale-Up based in Rotterdam (NL) where  you will get the freedom to make a difference. We are looking for someone who has the following profile:

  • You are an entrepreneurial person with vision, with a strong commercial track record and with extensive (min. 10 years) managerial experience.
  • You are interested in sustainability and technology and you will also carry this out.
  • You have demonstrable experience in helping companies in the scale-up phase.
  • You are ambitious, tenacious, resilient, and results oriented.
  • You are a motivating, energetic leader who leads by example.
  • You are interested in the combination of hardware and (technical) software solutions. You have an affinity with innovation and technology.
  • You are a strategic thinker, output driven with a hands-on mentality.
  • You work in a structured way, are process oriented and you can build, track and action the customer journey, company sales pipeline and customer retention data.
  • You have enviable communications skills, and you know how to motivate and coach others, and act as a pleasant sparring partner.
  • You have experience in digital marketing, and you follow the latest trends and developments closely.
  • You are creative and can come up with out-of-the-box solutions.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
